How to Measure Your Picture / Image

	Measure the Picture / Image height ( the height is from top to bottom )
Measure the Picture / Image width ( The width is from left to right)

Picture Frame Designer

The only measurements required in this section are the Height & width. If a mount is added in this section the system will subtract 8mm from the width & height Measurment entered in step one. This is done so when the opening in the mount is cut , the opening will be 8mm Smaller than your picture / image size. This in turn makes the opening sit just over your picture / image by 4mm all around and will guarentee a perfect fit.

Note - If you add a mount in this section and you require the opening to be an exact size add 8mm to the height and width measurment, this will cancle the automatic deduction

Picture Mount Designer

All measurments in the whole of this section are exact with no deductions of any type, If you have measured your picture / image as above, We recommend you subtract 8mm from each measurment.

This is done so when the opening in the mount is cut , the opening will be 8mm Smaller than your picture / image size. This in turn makes the opening sit just over your picture / image by 4mm all around and will guarentee a perfect fit.

Multi Frame

The only measurements required in this section are the Heights & widths of each picture / image. The system will subtract 8mm from the widths & heights of your pictures / images entered in step one. This is done so when the openings in the mount are cut , the openings will be 8mm Smaller than your pictures / images. This in turn makes the openings sit just over your pictures / images by 4mm all around and will guarentee a perfect fit.

Note - If you require the openings to be an exact size, Add 8mm to the height and width measurments this will cancle the automatic deduction.

How a frame is measured for size

The size of a Picture Frame is the size of the item that fits into it - if you have an Item that measures 30cm x 40cm The size of frame to order is 30cm x 40cm - You will then get a frame to fit an Item 30cm x 40cm.

Picture frames have a rebate

Depending on the rebate width of the selected frame, the viewing area will be Approximatly 10mm smaller than the Picture / image size - the edges of the Picture / image will sit just behind the rebate by approximatly 5mm all around the edge of the Picture / Image . This is perfectly Normal and industy standard.
