My current drawing style tries to incorporate the techniques I learned whilst using watercolor. Light layers of pencil, and letting the paper become part of the highlights; it&#8217;s a realistic style, but not hyper-realistic.<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10997\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/flamingo-2-lo-res.jpg\" alt=\"flamingo 2 lo res\" width=\"395\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/flamingo-2-lo-res.jpg 331w, https:\/\/www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/flamingo-2-lo-res-197x300.jpg 197w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 395px) 100vw, 395px\" \/><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>TELL US ABOUT SOME OF YOUR ARTISTIC PIECES\u2026<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">My artistic pieces these days are virtually all bird subjects. Not really sure; I have recently completed my first book &#8230;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/d\/Books\/Bird-Art-Graphite-Coloured-Pencils\/1782212965\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1493023214&amp;sr=1-1\">Bird Art<\/a>, published here in the UK by art book publishers Search Press.
