This particular photograph was taken early one morning in Innsbruck. Just before the sun had chance to melt the sprinkles of snow across the tops of trees, I managed to capture a series of winter wonderland shots. I was very lucky! The light was so pure and made for amazingly fresh and clear colours. If you look closely in the foreground you can see that drops of snow are already beginning to fall and melt. Walking through the scene was just as pleasurable as capturing it. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/street2-e1457517834634.jpg\" alt=\"street2\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9392\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>&#8216;How did you get into photography?&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>My Grandad always loved photography- he was my inspiration. I went to college after school and learnt how to use his Praktica Nova B camera. I loved developing the film and being hands on in the dark room. That was when I was 17 years of age- I must say I have forgotten the techniques now! It would be great to find a balance between Photoshop and the dark room, analogue and digital. I think it is the process that is often more fun than the result.<\/p>\n<p>When you have a creative eye you see the world through such an exciting lens. Even the most abstract moments, the way a beam of light falls across the ground for example. I think photography was a natural tool for me to reach out for and to document such moments that give me a buzz, visually.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/street4-e1457518119129.jpg\" alt=\"street4\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9394\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>&#8216;What do you enjoy about photography?&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t a true genre that I specialise in. I just love to experiment and to capture moments that surprise even me. I see our environment as a bit of a pick and mix stall really, I love to grab the best bits and enjoy making them even better during the editing process. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/2015-08-26_09-00-04-e1457517923528.jpg\" alt=\"2015-08-26_09-00-04\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9387\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>&#8216;What are your plans for the future?&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>I&#8217;m currently completing my MA in Fine Art Digital at UAL. This is on a part time basis, my work here is certainly very experimental. I enjoy combining digital photography with more tactile materials, and to play with scale also. I adore colour!
