Autumn is here! Our Top Trends

Autumn is here! Our Top Trends

With a new season now here, autumn brings variety in our homes through colour and interior styles. Here are our top trends to embrace that autumnal feel in your home.

1. Oversized florals

We speak a lot about statement pieces in your home, but over-the-top florals as physical flowers or large lavish wallpaper pieces bring the outside in this season! The contrasting wallpaper can be complimented with pillows and flowers that help the look spread throughout the interior.

2. Handcrafted

There’s a growing trend towards folk-inspired interiors, with handcrafted knits, pillows, lampshades, and ornaments making their way into a typical autumnal interior. Exposed wood, different shades, grains and also wood types add variety into the finishes within the handcrafted interior design.

3. Jet Black

Not all black everything; just combine it with yellows, golds and greys to create a look fit for those darker days. Combine black with wood, like below, for a modern take on our autumn theme. This allows you to spread the theme throughout the room by adding little touches of wood, which stand out on the darker background.

4. Earthy

Earthy interiors are the exact contrast to the ‘Jet Black’ style, if colour is more your thing. Below is an example of a typically earthy hue with, greens and wooden colours This can be varied with oranges and blues for the colour statement pieces. To get the most out of this style, matching the colour throughout the room such as ornaments, the curtains and the coloured wallpaper makes the design more inclusive.

5. Bold Colours

Stripes, geometrical shapes and block colours, but not all separately. Combining all of these designs is an autumnally trend when using autumn colours. This trend can be replicated through the whole year, changing patterns and colours depending on the season.

The best was to incorporate this style is through cushions and bedding, not by large furniture such as sofas or tables being bold and open. If the WHOLE room follows this style, it could become more of an eye sore than a design!

6. Cosy throws/blankets

Giant knits, suitable for decor on milder days and warmth on the cooler ones, have their place on our list because of their versatility. Tartan throws, red blankets or minimalistic simple throws to match other aspects of your decor, they are a MUST in our eyes this autumn!

The variety within styles in our Autumn trends means you can add your own spin easily on the common ideas we’ve found! There’s nothing better than making your home personal to you, and combing that with a couple of these trends will create the perfect warm home this autumn.
