Service rating : The frames arrived promptly and were packaged very securely. The website was very comprehensive and showed all the different woods used for the frames and I had no problems using the website to order them once I'd decided which ones I wanted. Product : I ordered solid ash frames, they arrived quickly and were very securely packaged. The frames had a good depth rebate which meant they could easily take double mounts, and came with quality acrylic glass and backing boards. The backing boards had a metal hanging clip on which I removed as they had to be hung using d-rings and cord in the gallery.
The joints in the frames were excellent, tight and neat and the grain in the wood was good and well-matched. A small niggle with one of the frames where there was a black line in the wood itself, a natural defect but it did stand out. I'm going to try a lime-wash on it to see if it will disguise it slightly.
Overall, I was very impressed with the quality, manufacture and speedy delivery of my frames and will definitely be using this company for my future framing needs.
